Dôme, The Name

Brooke took her first trip to Paris with her late father Michael, where they visited the Dôme Cafe, a famous haunt of writers, artists and expats of the 1920’s including Ernest Hemingway. Hemingway uses Dôme as a setting in his seminal work The Sun Also Rises.

Both a favorite author and favorite book of Michael’s, Dôme seemed a fitting tribute to him and his love of reading, travel, history and the entrepreneurial spirit. Michael started his own real estate company when he was the same age, inspiring Brooke to create her own company.
